What is extreme recreation? and why extreme giving?

Extreme Giving is a charity operated under the 501c3 nonprofit organization; Extreme Recreation Inc. Founded in 2023.

When people think of the term extreme a lot of different thoughts come to mind. Oxford defines "extreme" as;  

adjective

1. reaching a high or the highest degree; very great.

In our case, the term "extreme" is more a motto than just a word that describes our organization. Our ultimate goal is; to help others to the highest degree. How you ask? By being reachable, accessible, and available. Extreme Giving works to help families that are struggling to pay rent / mortgage. Struggling to pay utilities, or have had their utilities turn off due to lack of payment. Families with no food to eat, and helping struggling youth that want to pursue a college career, or pursue a trade by way of giving a scholarship to help pay for that opportunity. Extreme Recreation Inc. in the future wants to not only offer a service to the Southeast Texas community by way of the charity Extreme Giving, but wants to build facilities in the South East Texas area that would offer team building and leadership opportunities to those who think they themselves are unable to compete in a sport. Extreme Recreation wants to offer individuals who may not fit the football, baseball, or basketball mold a chance to be part of a team. A team that is uniquely them. Even if the individual does play one of the sports listed above, there is still opportunity for them to seek a different type of team experience in perhaps being apart of a; Paintball team, Cornhole team, Pickleball team, Sailing team, or apart of a Theatre production.

Our facility will also offer classrooms for study and instruction.  These areas will offer an alternative to sports that will allow kids to research and learn about the things that interest them the most.  Local experts will be brought in to teach kids about different professions and hobbies.
